Some of you have asked how Saturday went with the artwork hanging extravaganza. It went pretty well, all things considered. Hero is, shall we say, a bit hammer and nail challenged. And I am a bit anal retentive when it comes to hanging artwork perfectly straight and centered, when called for. This causes a disruption in the force of a happily married couple.
We used to fight during these times but I've learned something through the years. If I laugh when Hero starts getting agitated, it seems to help. He stops muttering and complaining and tells me that I'm crazy. That's ok, though, if the end result is a still happily married couple!
I was talking about this phenomena to a friend this week whose husband apparently is a carbon copy of Hero and she holds to the same school of thought as me in regard to the hanging of artwork, etc. It was very comforting to know I'm not alone! Thanks, Maria, and just start laughing!
