I went to Target today to shop for a few Fall outfits for the grandchildren. Oh, and I needed paper towels, too. There was a woman behind me in the checkout line who struck up a conversation with me as I was putting my items on the belt. Check it out. It think it's a bit odd.
Lady Customer: That outfit was only $7? It's adorable.
Jersey Granny: Yes, isn't it cute? It's for my soon-to-be born grandson.
Lady Customer [seeing the modest mound of girl clothing]: Wow! Is it Christmas or what?
Jersey Granny: Um, no. I just like buying things for my grandchildren.
Lady Customer: You're too funny!
