Here I Am

I haven't blogged for a while because:

~I had a head cold and sinus infection that lasted about 2 weeks.

~I am very __________________ [fill in the blank, any negative adjective will do] because we have to move when I was all settled in and nested and all.

There have been good times, though...

~Hadassah spent a few days with us. We had a wonderful time with a trip to the aqarium and walks in the park...and shopping. She is such an amazing, gifted young lady. More about this in the Granny Chronicles.

~Our family day on March 14, although Jon had to work and Cayla could only be there for a part of the time. That made it kind of sad for me because nothing brings me greater joy than my entire family under one roof. It was lots of fun, though. I'll post pics/movies in another post because I'm not very good at getting words and pictures in one blog.

~Hero and I went antiquing last weekend with our dearest friends, Bill and Linda. We had a great time and lots of laughs!

~Yesterday was an Amelie day. This girl makes "me feel so young" [think Frank Sinatra]. We baked and decorated cupcakes and made some crafts which she refused to take home and show/give to her Mommy and Daddy. Amelie said, "Pop-pop needs to see this!" She did take home some of the cupcakes though.

~News of the impending arrival of a precious new Grandbaby! That makes nine!

And now, I have been placed under house arrest by Hero until I [we] make a dent in this packing. No more fun until the chores are done. But we just did this last year!!!!! Arrrgggghhhh! There's got to be a reason this happened and I know it's for our good but sometimes I wish that the Lord would let me in on his plans...just a little.
