'Twas The Day After Christmas...'

Hero and I, along with Son#3 and Cayla, visited Son #1 and his family at their new home. It is a lovely home with lots of room to spread out. They live next door to Christy's parents and the sum of the two properties exceeds three acres. Their little "ranch" consists of three dogs, 3.5 cats, two horses and a plethora of amphibious creatures. Neighboring chickens also stop by to say hello and eat bugs or whatever it is that chickens peck at on the ground. There are pools to spalsh in and a tree fort to climb into...there are even a couple teepees and a chuck wagon. This has got to be 'kid heaven'!

You can't tell from this photo but that's me riding Lion. I must say that it was very scary since I was using a child-sized English saddle which was very slippery!

We had a lovely day spending time with Frank and his family!
