It's the Simple Things in Life

Although I love weekend adventures away, it's the simple things in life that bring the most contentment. Yesterday, my Hero and I spent an enjoyable afternoon with two of our precious grandgirls just playing and crafing; then, taking them to a local playground. In the evening, we simply relalxed together. Today, we took Lucius for a leisurely walk on a wooded trail at Barclay Farms. The air was crisp and the leaves crunched under our feet, then, it was off to dinner with Son #3 and his lovely wife.
