I Love Leaves!

I love autumn. It's just a perfect time in my estimation. Cool, crisp weather. Beautiful vistas. Comfort foods like soups and stews. A friend recently said that it's the season of death and very depressing. Ah, I said, but only God can take death and make it beautiful by changing the many shades of summer greens into glorious golds and reds.

Now, reality. Ya gotta rake those once-lovely-on-the-tree leaves once they fall to the ground. Then git 'em to the curb at a time prescribed by the township of Cherry Hill. Hero and I thought we would collapse and never get up this past weekend while we raked and scraped wet, no-longer-pretty, leaves. Sons of mine...where have you gone!!!! Please consider returning home one weekend each fall to rake leaves!
